Welcome to the 2025-26 school year! I am so excited to have your child in my class! This is my 3rd year here at Brighten but my 20th year as an educator. I was born and raised in Iowa – Go Hawkeyes! My son, Charlie, is starting 2nd grade, and we are honored to be part of the Brighten Crew.

My most important goal is to inspire a class family of supportive, committed peers. I am dedicated to providing a positive classroom environment where your child feels safe, valued, and respected.

Third grade is truly an amazing year with powerful learning opportunities and tremendous milestones to celebrate. I can’t wait to partner with you and share in the wonderful journey of making our world a better place together!
